Background: On Oct 31, 2006 John Kerry made the following comment to a crowd of college students while campaigning for Democratic candidates in California.
"If you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well; and if you don't, you get stuck in Iraq,"
He obviously ignited a storm of criticism and has had calls to apologize to the American Military from leaders of both parties (Including Pres. Bush and Hillary Clinton). Kerry released a statement in which he refused to apologize and tries to say that the statement was meant as a joke about President Bush and not a slap at American Troops.
Here is another joke stemming from the comment that John Kerry made. If you saw the Geico commercials, you'll get a kick outta this one.
