CIAA Announces All-Conference Preseason Basketball Team and Predicted Order of Finish

Charlotte, NC... The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its Pre-season All-CIAA Team and Predicted Order of Finish at the CIAA Basketball Press Conference and Luncheon.

Spirits were high and challenges were made as the Head Women's and Men's Coaches shared their outlooks for the season in front of a room full of CIAA supporters and media.

This year's pre-season teams were highlighted by conference leaders from Elizabeth City State: All-American Celeste Trahan, CIAA Defensive Player of the Year, Deanna Price and record-breaker Cassie King of North Carolina Central University. On the men's side, 2005-06 All-Conference vets Brad Byerson of Virginia Union, Claude Neeley of St. Augustine's and Antonio Fitzgerald, St. Augustine's led the men's selections.
