I am proud of my sister Selby for being given a music scholarship by BCC to attend this school year. But! Me being a FAMU Alumnus and having a Brother at FAMU in the band as a Sophmore this year, the ribbing (cutting fun jokes) will not be off limits to her! Lol! Can You imagine me at the annua FAMU vs. BCC classic with a Brother in the FAMU band, vs. a Sister in the BCC band??? Interesting to say the least... My Sister is a member at this site and I may have to hear it from her! (^;^) And................................... Let the rivalry began!

By the way, the last time my Sister had a boyfriend, I drove from GA to Orlando to meet him...
I'll be visiting BCC as a Brother just to check out the campus, Lol!
I have another brother and other family members who have graduated from there, have been there quite a few times, every year for a while back at FAMU for black beach weekend some years ago. My brother and I, quite a few classmates, cousins, friends and some cool folk from the bottom ( Miami) area, would hook up every year. Those times have past me by, but I am still hip and in tune to know a lil sometin sometin, You know, that older Brotherly advice to Sister Thang.

Hey William! I have a son a Jackson State and a daughter at Prairie View. I'm not sure how to handle the games. I guess daddy and I will have to wear shirts from each college. It will be interesting!

Hey Monica! Lol! Wow, I'm not the only one in this dilemna!
For me You know I will have to be biased, but she knows I have her back. I have a brother that went to BCC and we go at it every year, so it will be me and my Brother Wesley and my Sister and my Brother, i.e. 2-2. Picture that war and at the Classic we sit by each other and trip out folk and others join in! I can't wait!

Oh by the way Monica, it's football season and since Your Dallas Mavericks are out the way, now my Miami Dolphins and Your Dallas Cowboys.
I've been hiding out since that sorry behind coach that should get fired i.e. Larry Coker called stupid calls against er um FL State and we lost in the 2nd half!!!! have not been to the Barber shop this week! Don't wanna hear it...
But dem Hurricanes can run the table and meet FL State sorry folks again in championship game! And our defense there is none better, I feel the top 4 & 5 teams played (Miami and FL St.) and we know no team college wise from TX can compare with FL teams, oh I forgot about those TX Longhorns, Lol! I did vote for Vince Young over Reggie Bush at USC last year!
I hope TX beats Ohio St, this week!

Hey Maria, Lol! I tried, she was supposed to be going to FAMU and while waiting for contact back from them, a music scholarship from BCC came, so she took it, my brother dealt with similar, but he eventually was contacted.
Maybe we can bring some pulse back and get her blood to pump that green and orange and save one of our sisters, in the meantime, she knows I will not take it easy on her Lol! I know she won't and when her minds made up... Don't know where she got that from!
