When entrepreneur, author, and TV creator Tracie Collins walks into a room, her presence feels like strategy wrapped in serenity. There’s an energy to her — part visionary CEO, part healer, and part storyteller. She’s built a career that sits at the crossroads of business acumen, social justice, and creative expression — and she’s doing it all with an unapologetically soulful blueprint.
“You don’t have to sacrifice your peace to build power,” Collins often says. “You can scale with strategy and still stay in alignment with who you are.”
From Grit to Grace ~
Collins’ journey reads like a masterclass in reinvention. Raised in the Bay Area, she began her professional life as a performer and playwright — producing raw, socially charged stage works such as The V Monologues: A Black Woman’s Interpretation and Cold Piece of Werk, which tackled human trafficking and women’s empowerment. The latter was so impactful that the City of Oakland declared March 14, 2015, “Tracie Collins Day.”
Her early work in theater became the foundation for her creative philosophy: using art to catalyze awareness and drive transformation. That same ethos would later carry into her ventures as an entrepreneur and leadership coach.
The LeadHer Movement ~
Today, Collins leads an empire that bridges entrepreneurship and empowerment. Through her LeadHer Ecosystem and Collins Business & Brand Firm, she coaches women founders to build profitable, purpose-driven businesses — ones that scale without burning out their creators.
Her approach blends intuitive leadership with data-driven structure. “Women often come to me when they’ve built something successful but feel misaligned,” she says. “I help them reclaim the joy — and the systems — that allow their genius to breathe.”
Her influence has earned her features in Rolling Stone, Essence, CNN Health, NBC Today, and The Grio, where her insights on branding, leadership, and mental wellness have become a beacon for women redefining success on their own terms.
Advocacy as Legacy ~
Long before her name became synonymous with business strategy, Collins was championing birth justice and holistic healing. As the founder of the National Black Doulas Association, she created one of the most influential training and advocacy platforms in the field — connecting Black birthing professionals with families nationwide and confronting racial inequities in maternal care.
Her book, Special Delivery, dives into that intersection of healing and leadership — chronicling her own transformation and calling on Black women to reclaim power through self-knowledge, entrepreneurship, and care.
“Healing is a business strategy,” Collins notes. “You can’t sustain success if you’re operating from survival.”
A Creative Shift — and a Continental One ~
In 2023, Collins and her spouse relocated to Mexico, documenting the journey across YouTube and TikTok as part of a new chapter centered on peace, purpose, and international living. Her content — spanning entrepreneurship, spirituality, and lifestyle design — resonates with an audience hungry for what she calls “sovereign success.”
She’s also developing television and film projects that amplify underrepresented narratives in wellness, womanhood, and cultural identity — expanding her storytelling from the stage to the screen.
Scaling with Soul~
At the heart of Collins’ message is balance. Her mantra — structure, strategy, systems, and ease — underscores a philosophy that success isn’t sustainable without alignment. “You can automate your business,” she says, “but you can’t automate authenticity.”
Her clients call her a visionary strategist. Her followers call her a truth-teller. But Collins sees herself as something simpler: a mirror. “I help women remember who they are before the world told them who to be.”
What’s Next ~
With several TV series in development, a global brand consultancy in full swing, and a lifestyle empire unfolding abroad, Tracie Collins continues to lead from both the head and the heart — a duality that defines her and distinguishes her.
She isn’t just building companies or creating content — she’s architecting a new kind of leadership. One where ease is a power move, purpose is non-negotiable, and profit is no longer at odds with peace.
