When we look at the young Hollywood actresses who are making an impact in the industry as content creators, we think of talents like Marsai Martin and Yara Shahidi from the hit comedy series ‘Black-ish’ who both inked deals for their production companies to develop projects for films and television.
Another talent who is poised to be next up in that realm of young Hollywood influencers is Peyton Z. Basnight, a.k.a, Peyt, a.k.a. Zaniah.
Peyton made a big “splash” in 2023 with her role in the Disney series ‘Saturdays’ as Ari Stevens, a witty and sarcastic character that allowed Peyton to explore her comedic side with ad libs that were scene stealers that won her great notices /

Peyton is currently shopping a series she created called ‘Sudden Sisters’, about four women who are pulled out of their own realities when tragedy strikes. And, as a singer/songwriter with a new single out called ‘Romeo’, Peyton is currently in the studio finishing up work on her first album release.
I caught up with Peyton recently to talk about her career and what she is working on now musically and as an actress.
