I have been taking a class at church for the last month now and last night we touch on our spirit man. Now I don't want to preach, but there was and interesting point that was brought up in class. The pastor mentioned the story of Mosses and the Israelites after they were delivered from the land of Eygpt. The children of Israel wandered around the wilderness for 40 years, but the trip to the promised land was only 11 days. That was funny he brought that to my remembrance. He then said that a person will wonder around in the wilderness until they learn.......and some people even die in the wilderness because they never learn. It took me back to my own situation. I began to remember about my own shortcomings with the loss of my baby girl and the stupid decision that I not only made with relationships but with friends too. As long as I associated with people that I was not equally yoked with I kept being disappointed and let down by people who I thought meant me good. I was wondering in the wilderness for quite sometime, allowing people to take advantage of me and jumping from one relationship to another without healing just to fill a void. The definition of stupid is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results and that is were I was. Many of us will not realize and learn from our mistakes and will continuously wander in the wilderness and unfortunately some will die in the wilderness. There were only a two people that were over the age of twenty out of all of the children of Israel that were able to make it out of the wilderness, everybody 20 and older died. Are you still wandering in the wilderness? Think about it, if you are constantly in the same unfortunate situations day in and day out, examine your life.....what are you doing to contribute to this? Learn from your mistakes so that you can stop wandering around in the wilderness and make it to the promised land.
Stay Blessed
One Love,
