Alcorn State University ranked sixth on College Consensus’ Best Colleges and Universities in Mississippi (1027 hits)


Alcorn State University continues to receive recognition for its positive impact on college students.

The University was again the highest ranked Mississippi HBCU and placed sixth on College Consensus' Best Colleges and Universities in Mississippi 2018 list. To identify the Best Colleges in Mississippi for 2018, College Consensus averaged the latest results from the most respected college ranking systems with thousands of real student review scores from around the web to produce a unique rating for each school.

Alcorn's Interim President, Dr. Donzell Lee is proud of Alcorn's acknowledgment and looks forward to the successes of the future.

"Alcorn is a campus filled with quality instructors that stress the importance of commitment to excellence to our students," said Lee. "That message resonates with our students, which is why the university remains consistent in national rankings. We take pride in being recognized for hard work."
