What Guys Like (286 hits)

*Taken from a book I read over weekend. Feel free to add in what You think, whether You disagree with any point and if You have something to add to what You look for in a girl, DON'T BE SCURRED, LOL*

*Guys like girls who take good care of themselves. This isn't about model beauty. This is about clean hair, smelling good, exercising. By taking care of yourself, you send out the message that you care about yourself. Guys like this

*Guys like gilrs who have a life. They like it when you aren't always available. They like to know that if they like you, you aren't going to be needing them all the time.

*Guys like girls who have a sense of humor. This is one of the most underestimated attributes. Let's face it, we all love someone who laughs (especially at our jokes) and knows how to have fun.

* Guys like girls who don't try too hard. Once again, the message you send when you try too hard is that you are desperate. They want to think that they lucked out by getting you.

*GUYS LIKE GIRLS WHO LISTEN TO THEM and find them interesting. Don't fake it, but don't try to "get" a guy if you don't think he is interesting.

*Guys like girls who have fun with other girlfriends. They want to know that if they are going to watch the game on Saturday night, you aren't going to fall apart. They like girls who can have a goods time without them.

*Guys like girls who sincerely like them. So... instead of thinking, "I want a boyfriend," think, "I am looking forward to meeting a guy I like who likes me back."

Oh Will the things you say are oh so true. I think that most of these qualities are what good men and women look for in a mate. I would say that i agree. its just that when most of us look for a mate we forget what we are lookin for a settle for what is right infront of us... whih is too bad

I agree. My boyfriend and I have a very close bond. We talk about everything. We could be in the mall and if he looks at a girl I would ask him would he talk to her. He told me that its not about the looks its how well you carry yourself. (i.e. clean, smell good, combed hair) My boyfriend insist that I spend time with my girls so that our friendship wouldn't fall apart. So with this being said I agree.

Hi Krystal, pleasure to make Your acquaintance and appreciate the time and efforts of Your comments, also the personal knowledge that You share. Sounds like You and Your Boyfirned have a great relationship.
Respectfully I don't know that if I had a Woman that I was courting that I would ask her about would she talk with this or that guy and there is a way to notice nature, beauty etc. and remain dedicated to the one You are with.
Just being real about me and honest.
Don't be a stranger and look forward to what You may blog on.

Hey Candise, You are asking a Man that has bumped his head before in the past and I still blink and see starts about that one with a hickey on my head(reap what sown)
:-)

But You know what, from my and many Men experiences, the average woman dogs out the brutha.

I call that the David and Micah paradigm I thought of the other day. David and Micah of the Bible did not hear one another but both had so much to give to one another. david a King and Micah the one who sacrificed to save David's life and he still put her away forever.

Lets not even go there with the popular "Bad Boy", "Thug" many sistah's state, leave and dream of which causes many Men to change even though choice.
No dogs unless doggettes and women out number men and women pass it on to women "never leave your man around another woman", think about it...
I am a Libra and have to lay it straight down the line Sis, even though I blast where the blasts have to go on me, men and women.
