THINK DEEPER AND DIG UNDER THE SURFACE! (395 hits)

May 5, 2015

I am not surprised to hear that President Obama's remarks at Lehman College in the West Bronx received little to no coverage in the media to be shared with others as being big news.  But, you have to be willing to THINK DEEPER AND DIG UNDER THE SURFACE!  As blacks, we are encouraged to deny who we are to fit into a culture that repeatedly dismisses us and sees us as being less than human.  If the truth be told, many are outraged about slavery being abolished.  This is a viewpoint which has been handed down from generation to generation since the days of slavery.  And although we have a black President who has more power than most, but still not enough to make the necessary changes to even the score board.  However, I do commend him for attempting to try.

When one of us is chosen or selected to be part of the culture that has continually denied us, those inducted into that status quo are used to further fuel an agenda to hold us in captivity.   We are not expected to have a voice and more importantly, no one else who is in a position of power is expected to speak up concerning the inequality or the disparaging law against us.  Because President Obama walked up to the plate to speak out about what he knows to be true to include his own personal experiences as a black man, he is greatly hated even more than he was before he announced his decision to run as the President of the US.  So, now those who are considered to have a majority rule over right and wrong whether wrong or not are planning to avenge their position or the so called damage of this current administration’s 8 year reign in an attempt to use Ben Carson to take us back even further.  And yes, their plan is to use religion to do it!

My intent is not to take anything away from the accomplishments of Ben Carson.  We must do more to take a nice long and hard look at the unseen possible motives.  Too often, no matter how successful we have become or educated, many of us still suffer from mistaken identity to include the need to belong and to be accepted by those who have tossed us aside as being worthless.  And when we have served our purpose of helping to fuel the personal agenda of another, we are sure to get tossed to the side and treated like outcast too.  Sadly, not many of us have payed attention to be aware of this extremely old strategy.  Or perhaps, those who have allowed themselves to be ruled and influenced by the spirit of rejection don't really care even if their new founded association of acceptance is temporary - for now.  The answer is not a temporary change; it's a life-long committed permanent change that supersedes the electoral race and polls!

Please be mindful of Bush’s response to an open apology and a plea for reparation to black America.  He simply said, slavery, the inequality and disparaging behavior was the law ….. as if that made it right.  But God has stated, the letter of the law without the SPIRIT Kills, steals and destroys the heart and soul of a person.  President Obama is correct!   The constant “Unfairness And Powerlessness” is the underlined electrical and explosive current that’s “Fueling the Urban Unrest” these days.  People are tired and when they keep getting backed in a corner, often times they come out swinging.  Sad, but true!  As my mother once said, even a dog gets tired.  You keep kicking that dog and beating him over and over again …. unmercifully …. and see what happens.

Keep praying!  Seek God's wisdom, HIS understanding and HIS knowledge.  Not man's concept of surface superficial knowledge.  Discern your surroundings to know the TRUTH to include the heart of all the players.  Be fully informed and aware!  Be vigilant and sober!
