Grambling State University Mourns the Loss of One of Its Own In Car Crash (4469 hits)


Grambling State University officials are investigating a reported crash near the campus on West Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. that caused the death of one student and injured another.

Carl Robinson Jr,21, from Tallulah, La was pronounced dead on the scene after his vehicle ran off the roadway, flipped multiple times ,and finally bursting into flames. The passenger, Arseneau Robinson, 23, was air-lifted to University Health Center in Shreveport where he is listed in critical condition.

GSU has grief counseling and same day crisis intervention services available to help students manage personal distress and provide them with the skills to function and meet the demands of campus environment. You may contact Foster Johnson Student Counseling and Wellness Resource Center at (318-274-3277) for additional information about grief counseling.
