Acts 13:1 "Now there were in the Church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul".
You know whenever I hear black people that claim to be agnostic, atheistic etc., I am usually shocked but not as much as I used to.
Whenever I hear them state "white man faith that was forced on us", I see that they are either very naive, ignorant, are lying or a combination of the three respectfully.
Why do I say this? Because they claim to be so intelligent, are book learned etc. But they overlook (you guess the reasons), that Simon of Cyrene for instance is North Africa.
They do not tell you that Simon called Niger is the same as saying Simon the black.
So Simeon is the black and Lucius is from North Africa and Manaen their companion thus friend played with Herod a King and it is believed this very same simon from North Africa carried the cross of Jesus (this is very significant for mankind) and Men from Cyrene(North Africa) began the ministry(Acts 11:20) among the Gentiles in Antioch (where the Holy Spirit and Church began I believe) and...
And some people call Christianity white mans faith???????
Black people that state this dont even realize they are taking away from our heritage in the people that are led to believe and claim this lie.
We as a black people have always had our faith.
To give up what we started is the same as giving up what belongs to you and accepting lesser like another property, another house, another wife, another set of children, another..............
King Solomon in the book of Song of Solomon talks about clearly his skin color in 1:5 and why people look down upon him in 1:6.
Just do your homework sometime for yourself and look up where those countries are located and their present day names.
Also look at those Biblical names, they are not Bob, Lucy etc. respectfully (just using those names for examples).
Those are all peoples ancestor names that can be traced back to Adam and Eve.
I am not about trying to prove race, I say Jesus and God are in the eyes of the beholder.
According to race, s*x, religion, creed, beliefs, environment, gender, needs, situations, etc.etc.etc., Jesus, God etc. are beyond definition and definetly beyond the limits and the farthest scope of what man can fanthom.
God and Jesus are beyond what evil people thus satan has used to blur people into confusion.
Our God covers many names and encompasses many One Ultimate Supreme based religions.
The Bible tells us not to be deceived, not to have divisions and so much more.
We as a black people in ever increasing numbers continue to follow a trend of others from whence we did not come from, i.e. daisy dukes, homos*xuality, down low, atheism, materialism, agnosticism, paganism, drugs, division and I know many of you here can add so much more.
Just know whenever any black person talks about Christianity being a white man's faith, well the devil is a liar and this is the same as adding and subtracting from a Bible that warns about that also, i.e. Revelations 22:18 and 19.
People who say lies like this are taking us as a black people out of the bible (subtraction thus not black love as they try to state) and the rest is adding in their lies.
The very fact that it is now a scientific fact that life started in Africa(Read Genesis 2), since it is a scientific fact that most of everything you and I know of was started and created by black people, how do we call Christianity a forced white people faith?
My thing is who let the faith go in the 1st place?
You don't know?
Just look around you at the present day world.
This is really evident since M.L.K., Malcolm X and Mrs. Rosa Parks to name a few of many.
Even today we have the well known crabs in the bucket saying where clearly our own black people (some) try and do succeed at pulling down other black people and they use the name of God in the same sentence!
These same people who are guilty also do as the those who condemned Jesus.
The same type spirits as stated by your Bible.
The Bible calls them "White Washed Tombs" right?
Remember the Pharasees and Sadducees had nothing in common until they formed a conspiracy to kill Jesus.
The same as black folk going to white folk to tear down black folk.
People this is nothing new as the Bible states, "There is no new thing under the sun".
Also remember that God calls envy and jealousy the same as murder.
You better ask Abel and his brother Cain.
Why do I go here and write on these various things?
Atheists, Agnostics, people that do not want you to believe in anything other than what they want you to believe are envious of your faith, are jealous of what God gave you, are doing what other folk outside your culture have tried to do (like Massa and house negro) etc.etc.etc.
Never let anything take your faith, as a matter of fact it is in Proverbs where God calls people who fall 7 times as righteous.
You ever wonder why perfection, self-righteousness is never mentioned? They are the people who warp and infect the whole world in league with satan himself.
