Brett Pulley (Class of 1980), Senior Editor at Forbes Magazine, represented by Djana Pearson Morris of Adler & Robin Books, Inc., a D.C. literary agency and book packager, signed with Wiley & Sons some months ago for a biography of billionaire BET founder Robert Johnson. Pulley first wrote about Johnson in a 2001 Forbes article "The Cable Capitalist." With the book jacket in its final design stages, Pulley says he's "95 percent sure" the title will be The Billion-Dollar BET. Pulley has the chops for putting perspective on the first African American member of the billionaires' club: Before joining Forbes four years ago, Pulley spent the previous 10 years reporting for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
