Why Bro. leave Sisters (135 hits)

This is a subject that can go on until the end of time, most of our brothers look for certain atributes that they feel that they could not receive from sisters, after speaking to a close friend of mine who has been in a relationship with a woman not of color for the last 8 yrs. he tells me that he got to do what he wanted to do while with the white women over the black women , so I ask what about love and equal compasion for one another , he states you have to be willing to teach them how to love you. well ladies of color I just like to put my opin out there "There is nothing like Choclate it can not be dressed up or sugar coted please give me some feed back on this ladies help me understand ....

I have had a couple of relationships with women "not of color." There is a difference in the way some treat you as opposed to another. A good woman is a good woman no matter the color. It seems that some of our own don't like hard-working men. Some seem to like the "brothas" who do absolutely nothing all day except have babies all over the place.

I don't mind dating outside my race because I judge by character. If a sistah get mad at me and say he couldn't find a black woman, I will reply I have to be close minded in a country that we call a melting pot. If I'm attracted to you best believe I'm going to talk to you. Some black people are afraid to venture outside their race because they are afraid they will be called a sell out. I love all women, and I appreciate all cultures. How come it is alright for black women to date outside their race, and wrong for black males?

Gosh! I don't believe there is anything wrong for a BLACK man ro date outside his race. My problem is: don't say you looked elsewhere because a sistah couldn't give him what he wanted. I truly believe a black woman gives him a challenge that some of the black men don't care to deal with. We give you what you NEED. Some just not up to the challenge.

I don't have a problem with black men dating outside of their race- you can't help what ur attracted to. But I dislike it when black men say that they won't date black women. There ain't nothing wrong with us! If a black man says that he's always had bad experiences with black women, maybe he's the problem. You should never put down members of your own race.

What I find is, it is very rare to find a sistah that can handle a real black man.
Very few. There is a whole lot of talk about black men, but a lot of sistah's I have met are fake facades of what they say.
I believe most brutha's know where I am coming from. I have had these very candid talks with sistah's so it may be hard for some to see where i am coming from here at this blog.
I love sistah's, I stay with my own culture, this of course is choice. I have had my offers but I did not pursure it.
What I have done, I admit all.
You see how many answer to "I'd rather have a bad boy". All you have to do is look around you. God speaks out in nature that includes people.
WHAT DO YOU SEE?????????
Most sistah's that have to say that is not kind about black men do not even build up the nerve to talk to me about it, why?
Fake facades.
Truth sets free.
I have to admit, I ran from 1 challenge of a strong black sistah. I regret that this day, but no guilt.
I have ran from no other because I have met very few.
I do not believe there is any black man on here that has not met a sistah claiming to be looking for a strong brutha that has not tried to change the very nature of what makes them a Samson in the 1st place.
I just have to be real.
I have been doing what I do for a long time now.
If you read my post about "You ask me to be a strong black leader but you don't", you will see what I am talking about. That was a debate I answered that was going on at another website.
It is truth I received over 200 emails in one day off of that one.
Debate was over after that.
"God" Bless to all.

p.s. I have seen some very strong impressive brutha's at this site post some great blogs, no women or very few answered their blogs, why?
Sistahs that think very few positive, strong, spiritual men do not exist, why?
Those sistah's that fit the shoe don't want to know so they can keep being blind and say what they say which is erroneous.
I have written on all sides in fairness. I can not change that trend here.
I have been impressed with quite a few brutha's here. They know who I speak to.
Just many do not want to answer here because they are tired.

I think one word applies quite often between black man and black woman: superficial. It's probably because all of the tv/radio stuff we soak up.
