This group is designed to promote, organize, and attend to the needs of gay, lesbian, bis*xual, and transgender students in the G.L.A.S.S organization at Texas Southern University. It officially became a recognized campus organization Fall 2004. This club is open to everyone, including but not limited to, homos*xuals, bis*xuals, transgenders, and heteros*xuals. We strive for academic excellence, focus on ways to improve ourselves as well as how to aid in the development primarily of the African American Community. We host numerous events to raise money for the benefit of society. Community service is very important as well. This year's main focus is Academic Excellence. An all-expense paid vacation to San Francisco will be awarded to the G.L.A.S.S. members with the top 5 g.p.a.'s. at the end of Fall 2005. Trip will take place during Spring Break 2006.
