HBCU FOUNDATION HELPS KATRINA VICTIMS (2334 hits)

The HBCU Foundation in conjunction with HBCUConnect.com has started the Black College Hurricane Relief Fund.

The purpose of this fund is to assist the thousands of students, faculty, staff, administrators and families of those Historically Black Colleges and Universities ravaged by our nation's worst-ever natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina.

We are asking that the entire Historically Black College and University community make monetary donations to The HBCU Foundation, who will divide the donations between the HBCUs affected.

No amount is too small.

Please send all payments and make all checks payable to:

The HBCU Foundation
Hurricane Relief
5300 East Main Street Suite 107
Columbus, Ohio 43213

TO FAX CREDIT CARD DONATIONS:
215.893.5398
or
CALL:
614.864.4446

Also, the National Association For Equal Opportunity in higher Education (NAFEO) launched an HBCU Visiting Student-Evacuee Program, where displaced HBCU students are allowed to enroll in other HBCUs across the country at no additional cost to students who have their fees paid to their home institution.
