
The HBCU Foundation in conjunction with HBCUConnect.com has started the Black College Hurricane Relief Fund.
The purpose of this fund is to assist the thousands of students, faculty, staff, administrators and families of those Historically Black Colleges and Universities ravaged by our nation's worst-ever natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina.
We are asking that the entire Historically Black College and University community make monetary donations to The HBCU Foundation, who will divide the donations between the HBCUs affected.
No amount is too small.

Also, the
National Association For Equal Opportunity in higher Education (NAFEO) launched an HBCU Visiting Student-Evacuee Program, where displaced HBCU students are allowed to enroll in other HBCUs across the country at no additional cost to students who have their fees paid to their home institution.
