I get asked the question, "How does the Antoinne Fisher" story and the "Good Will Hunting" movies fit your life.
To better get to know who I am, I answer these questions now. Hopefully they can be a benefit for you and the people in your lives.
It was strange that my brother in Orlando showed me two movies while I was visiting.
One was "Antoinne Fisher" and the second was "Good Will Hunting".
It was so weird because these movies are totally out of character of the type of movies that my brother likes.
The Antoinne Fisher movie by Denzel Washington was the same as watching the first pasrt of my life up through the military and into college except I did not have a great ending meeting my Father's side of the family and I pushed my girlfriend away for life with my issues.
Secondly the "Good Will Hunting " movie with Brad Pitt and Matt Damon is the exact replica of the second part of my life after college and up till the present. I have had great jobs with no training. I could do anything without studying as the character Will Hunting (Matt Damon) played. He worked as a janitor at M.I.T. (Mathmatics Institution). He could solve the most complex of problems with no training, but he had not solved his own. Matt Damon meets a great mentor and counselor and at the end of the movie Will Hunting takes the wisdom offered to him and follows his conscience after much dwellling and rides off into the sunset towards a destination not knowing the outcome. It is very complex and perplexing when you deal with you and your own journey, but can easily see, solve and advise with unusual precision any one else's. The Will Hunting character was Blessed and skilled with so many Gifts that his turmoil was in which way to go at the pulling of everyone else that thought what was best for him complicated with the fact of a fatherless and motherless upbringing and street people albeit rough, were the only family and love he had ever known. Will was hiding from life because he knew what was in his street family, but the people that were supposed to love, nurture, protect and care for him.......
No one understood him in his acting out but responded to the victim/survivor rather than the environment, people and elements that produced him. He lived to survive and knew what he knew and the soul-mate for him could not penetrate all that pain, confusion and rage. Only the agape love of one person set him free. Then he was ready to go get the girl and life if he could.
Anyway.........
Is there a movie that fits your life, touches the deepest parts of you that people rarely see and when they see it, it is usually not the real person, but the superficial.
