A warm hello to all of you!!! Wow! I hardly know where to begin! You guys are wonderful.......We now have thirty-five (35) 'AWESOME' members!!!!
I can hardly believe that on July 01, 2005, we had only FOUR (4) members. A huge thanks to everyone who joined this writing club!
We will begin, of course, by getting aquainted with each other. In order to do this in an organized fashion I think that each of us should write a brief paragraph or two on WHO we are e.g., our likes, dislikes, hobbies, favorite sport(s), our GOALS, both short and long term, etc.
I would like to see as many as possible participate in our first 'get-aquainted' meeting. Please don't feel shy or nervous about participating. There is no right or wrong method....no pass or fail. So, just be YOURSELF as you prepare your first writing assignment.
Also, so that the entries won't be strewn all over the place, I'd appreciate it if everyone can post his/her writing under this blog. Don't you agree that it will be easier for all of us to 'get-aquainted' in a group-like setting? This eliminates searching for each other's assignment.
In my last blog I mentioned to you that I have a few ideas I would like to present to you all and I will AFTER we have completed this assignment.
Most of us lead busy lives so I'm thinking that if everyone has a week (until July 13, 2005) to submit this 'itty bitty' assignment we should all be straight, right? Now, please, don't hesitate to e-mail me if you need more time, OK?

p.s. One more thing....we are a writing 'group'...a 'team' if you will. So, bring YOUR ideas, or thoughts to the table, Ok?
