A Huge Thanks To Everyone!!! (293 hits)

Many of you have left beautiful comments in my guestbook, as well as on my blogs. I want to take a moment to say thanks to all of you.

You don't know how much of an 'inspiration' you have been to me. I've loved writing for as long as I can remember and to read the kind words left by many of you is an 'incentive' for me to keep pursuing my goal of becoming a journalist/writer.

I know that there are many others who, perhaps, write more proficiently.

But, knowing that at least ONE person, appreciated and, maybe, even benefited from something that I've written is all that I need to go on.

Some of you have come to realize that I have a strong sense of humor (maybe 'too' strong). lol I owe that to my Mother. She was a very funny person. Her laughter was always contagious. She always told me 'finding something to smile about takes away the day's dirt'. We all know that some days we get covered in the 'mud' of inequality.

There is a serious side to me, however, that cannot turn a 'deaf' ear or a 'blind' eye to the sufferings of humankind. It is my heartfelt desire to uplift and strengthen the oppressed. I hope that I can achieve this, in part, through my expressions...my writings.

So, I thank each and every one of you who read my blogs and those of you who take a moment out of you day to leave your comments.

Always,
Tressia
