Its one thing to support a husband of many years during a publicly humiliating set of circumstances... I'm sure it's not easy, but that kind of love and strength is in a woman.
However, to be greatly qualified for the highest office in the nation, fight triumphantly, never waver publicly and then lose bitterly must be an experience. Obama is absolutely right on in speaking of Clinton's intelligence and work ethic. Clinton left no doubt of her unrelentless dedication, passion and drive when she walked on stage in light of losing the coveted democratic nomination showing her audience nothing but complete confidence in Obama as the nation's next President of the United States.
The nomination of Clinton to Secretary of State closes the deal. I think the only thing that made me prouder than to watch the general election was just minutes ago watching the transformation of the Obama/Clinton relationship.
To disagree but respect. To oppose in areas but highly regard the gift. I have never been more proud of any two living American leaders. What just took place is what the beauty of diversity is all about. As far as American women go in the 21st Century, Clinton is among the best.
