As days roll into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years, their voices continue to cry out.
Black communities worldwide have extended our arms to embrace each other in an attempt to keep hope alive as we search for our missing African-American females. America 'refuses' to acknowledge our suffering as we lose our precious children, one by one. The growing consensus is that our lives, Black people's lives, are not valuable enough to merit concern, or to be given 'national' media attention. And yet, we were inundated with news reports of Jennifer Wilbanks, who 'pretended' to be missing and the whole nation responded IMMEDIATELY. Every major news network provided coverage in an effort to find Jennifer Wilbanks. Even after recanting her insidious claims of abduction, America continued to 'cater' to her whims.
The outcries of the African-American females listed below are not whims. They are pleas, beseeching Lady Justice to listen with her 'heart'. To extend to them the 'freedom', the 'liberty', the 'justice' that ALL men should have.
These beautiful African-American women are someone's daughter, someone's mother. It is my hope...it is my prayer... that they, along with all missing African-Americans, will be remembered and given the national attention that they deserve.
