Maintenance II - Quincy, IL
Maintenance Training Grade II
Location: 2100 Gardner Expressway, Quincy, IL 62301
Shift: 12hr Rotate Schedule
Pay: $30.65/hour
Job Duties- Complete preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on equipment throughout the facility
- Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance tools, etc.
- Utilize maintenance trades and components such as fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Modify/build/install equipment based on reading and comprehending schematics, blueprints, or operating manuals
- Ensure product safety and quality
- Operate equipment throughout the facility which may include tractors with front loaders, skid-steers, manlifts, forklifts, UTVs, etc.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and documentation
- Knowledge of plant equipment and process flow
Requirements- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or differential shifts
