You will play a crucial role in designing, modernizing, and delivering secure, scalable cloudnative applications that directly advance the customers mission objectives. Responsibilities:Lead/Manage/Support the design, development, and modernization of complex Azurehosted applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and mission alignmentCollaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams, cloud architects, cyber security teams, product owners, and stakeholders to develop secure and innovative solutions in an Agile environmentDrive continuous delivery, automation, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives to improve system efficiency, resilience, and operational effectiveness Utilize Azure native services, ASP.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, automation scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development frameworks to deliver highquality solutionsSupport modernization of legacy applications in AzureParticipate in Agile ceremonies and DevOps delivery practices WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Developer Principal must have:Education Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical fieldSecurity clearance level: Public TrustMust be a US personAzure Certifications: Azure FundamentalsHands-on Experience Required: 5+ years of hands-on experience with the followingAzure cloud development with Azure IaaS and PaaSAzure native services (Logic Apps, App Service, Function App)ASP.NET Core and C# backend API developmentAngular (v10+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3CI/CD pipeline development with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts)Git-based version control and Agile deliveryMicrosoft SQL Server (stored procedures, performance, complex queries)Technical Skills:Java development (Servlet, JSP, Spring Boot, Maven)Scripting with PowerShell, YAML, or BashREST API integration and secure authentication (OAuth/JWT)RESTful API design and application integrationAutomation of build, deployment, or cloud operationsSQL Server integration within modern application architecturesExperience using cloud-native patterns and modern development frameworksPreferred experience:Azure CertificationsAdobe ColdFusion 20182023 developmentApplication modernization and migration of legacy ColdFusion systemsAzure security, system management, and monitoringAzure AD, O365, SMTP integration, and authentication protocolsCollaboration and support tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) GDIT IS YOUR PLACEAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
