Full-Stack Software Developer - TS/SCI w/Polygraph

As a Full-Stack Software Developer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service. HOW THE FULL-STACK SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTApplies knowledge and provides guidance to all phases of the software development lifecycleProvide leadership to other developers and teams in using AngularApplies knowledge in analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needsApplies knowledge in creating advanced models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an applicationProvides analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or statusMay provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced analystsMay act as a consultant across multiple programs and/or contracts within a division WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience)Required Experience: 8+ years of relevant experienceRequired Technical Skills:Experience with AngularExperience with JavaWilling to develop and implement solutions in a dispersed team environmentExperience working on a SCRUM team supporting Lean Agile FrameworkConducts routine quality assurance activities such as peer reviewsExperience with GIT and JenkinsDemonstrated experience with webservice design and developmentExperience with continuous integration, test automation and DevOpsFamiliar with LINUX environmentsTranslate system requirements from both formal and informal requirements into complex application interfacesKnowledge of JAVA DataBase Connectivity (JDBC), Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC), or direct database interfaces is required to successfully develop in the environmentPreferred Skills:Experience implementing micro servicesGovernment customer architecture/engineering board experienceExperience implementing AWS cloud solutionsExperience with automated CI/CD pipelinesExperience with distributed data architecturesExperience discussing technical topics with non-technical people;Puppet module development Terraform developmentRemains abreast of and researches industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.Hands-on experience with Web Services (REST and SOAP)Familiar with AWS services and working in an AWS environmentSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ PolygraphLocation: Herndon, VA - Customer SiteGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays #WeAreGDIT#JET#GDITEnhanced2026#VA_2026Alumni
