Audit & Field Rotation Auditor
Job Description Summary As the Audit & Field Rotation Auditor, you will support the company’s internal control and risk management activities through participation in audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, while gaining broad exposure to accounting and finance operations. This role is designed as a development position, providing foundational audit experience and preparing participants for a potential future rotation into corporate or field accounting or finance roles. You will work closely with Internal Audit leadership and team members to execute audit procedures, document results, and support department initiatives while building core professional skills.Job Details What You’ll Do As the Audit & Field Rotation Auditor, you will: - Produce examination work, including the review of public and private records of all title documents, including but not limited to: recorded plats, deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, surveys, easements, probates and divorce decrees to verify vesting as well as legal descriptions of property
- Verify property access issues and objection letters
- Work with Title Examiners and Upper Management in basic UW decisions and pipeline execution
- Complete work in a timely and efficient manner to achieve targeted turn times
- Complete out-of-county evidence orders and work with providers to achieve viable service level agreements
- Review terrorist watch list and conducts name searches for each transaction
- Assist policy department to ensure company is in compliance with TDI regulations
- Update commitments after survey review and plant bring to dates
- Create open orders for new contracts
- Review BOT open orders for accuracy and verify legal documents, including contracts, entity documents and other related items
- Perform other duties as assigned
Sound Like You? You might be just who we’re looking for if you have… - Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 1 - 3 years of applicable experience, including internships or entry-level experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Accounting, or Finance
- Basic understanding of internal controls, accounting principles, and audit concepts
- Proficiency with PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data analytics tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact professionally with all levels of the organization
FLSA Status: Exempt Will have responsibilities such as: - Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operations

Physical Demands: - Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
