Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 03/16/2026. Driver's License: A current, valid state-issued Driver's License is required for this position. NOTE: We cannot accept photographs, therefore; please do not submit a copy of your license with your application package. You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-04 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Providing supplies and material to clinical and/or administrative areas of a facility. Scanning, bar-coding, receiving, storing and distributing supplies, instruments and other material. Pulling stock, replenishing stock and maintaining records on stock levels. Monitoring expiration dates. Cleaning assigned areas in accordance with regulations and policy. Utilizing an automated system to maintain inventory. Answers customer questions regarding supplies and materials. OR, Education (Transcript Required): Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have Four (4) years of education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. OR, Combination (Transcript Required): Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have a combination of specialized experience and education in excess of 60 semester hours (2 years) is creditable. NOTE: Only education beyond the second year can be used in combination with specialized experience to qualify for this grade.
