<dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0">The purpose of this position is to provide departmental leadership and direction consistent with the strategic vision of the assigned division and the mission of the College.</p><p style="margin: 0 0 0 0.25in"><strong><span style="color: inherit">Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field.  Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale</span></strong><span style="color: inherit">.  </span></p><br></dd>
<dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0;">Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, or related field required.  <span style="color: inherit;">T</span><span style="color: inherit;">hree (3) years of supervisory experience is required. Six</span> (6) years of experience preferably at a community college, in two (2) or more of the following areas: Title IX, crisis management, student conduct, behavioral intervention, or conflict resolution/mediation. Preference is given to candidates with a Title IX certification. </p><br><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>For best consideration, please apply by March 5, 2026.</strong></div></dd>
<dt><h2>Class Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: -0.25in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><span style="color: inherit">Implements and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of the College’s student conduct process.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Develop and manage operating budget for assigned unit college-wide, as required.  </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Hire, supervise, advise and evaluate assigned staff.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Establish goals and objectives for operations consistent with CCBC’s mission.  </span></li></ol><p style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive. <dt><h2>Position Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><table border="0" style="width: 508.05pt; margin-left: -5.4pt" width="677"><tbody><tr><td style="width: 100%; padding: 0 5.4pt" valign="top"><p style="margin: 0"><br></p><div style="margin: 0"><ol style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Serve as the chief conduct officer in investigating and adjudicating student violations of the CCBC Code of Conduct and appeals.</span><span style="color: inherit"> </span></li><li style="margin: 0">Leverage independent decisions and risk management protocols to measure impact on students’ educational plans.</li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Oversee the review, update and implementation of the Code of Conduct.</span></li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Coordinate efforts with Student Conduct Administrators, Hearing Boards and Public Safety to adjudicate cases involving alleged violations of the Code of Conduct.</span></li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Develop, implement, coordinate, and conduct educational programs and initiatives designed to educate and support faculty, staff, and students regarding their rights and, where applicable, obligations under Title IX, including reporting options/responsibilities, support services, college policy, and applicable disciplinary code, grievance procedures, confidential resources, etc.</span></li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Oversee, coordinate and ensure the investigation of reports and complaints of sexual misconduct are adequate, reliable, timely, confidential, and impartial.</span></li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Identify systemic problems relating to complaints and determines whether campus-wide resources should be adopted in response, including review and revision of the College's sexual misconduct policies and increased education and prevention efforts to targeted populations.</span></li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Collaborate with leadership and campus constituencies to disseminate information, redesign processes, and support the College’s investigative processes; collaborate and coordinate with compliance partners within the department and across the institution to support the College's overlapping compliance needs and responsibilities.</span></li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Ensure ongoing compliance with Title IX by collecting and analyzing data, writing comprehensive reports and maintaining records of investigations.</span></li><li style="margin: 0">Lead the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT).  Supervise the oversight of the on-going “students of concern”.</li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Present student conduct information to senior staff, faculty, and staff as requested or required.</span></li><li style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Master subject matter related to the Student Code of Conduct and institutional case history.</span></li><li style="margin: 0">Responsible for student incident reporting system (Maxient) and manage all electronic student conduct records.</li></ol></div><p style="margin: 0">Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive.
