To have a scientist as a Special Education teacher is a valuabe resource in a high school setting. It allows the school to assist students with or without diasabilities, to meet their high school requirement in science. I can teach/co-teach those needing assistance in the physical and natural sciences; as well as algebra. Also, having both urban and suburban teaching experience, broadens my ability to reach and understand various student approaches toward education and learning. I love being the role-model for male students, too.
