NEW YORK (March 30, 2005) – BET heads back to sunny Daytona Beach, Florida for its signature spring break music special SPRING BLING ’05. With this year’s theme “GET WET”, prepare to get drenched by the hottest performances, fashion shows, and competitions ever to hit one dynamic stage. For three days of non-stop fun, experience episodes of Revamp (segments showcasing the hottest dance acts across the country accompanied by live performances); Beach Towel Throwdown (BET’s liveliest hip-hop concerts); Freestyle (rap competition with celebrity judges); and Rides, Rims, and Runway (featuring the most tricked out celebrity rides, s*xy fashion models and sizzling performances). All shows will tape April 15 – 17 and are guaranteed to blow the sand off the beach! The SPRING BLING ’05 show tapings are open to the public and will include contests and gift giveaways for event attendees. And yes...HBCUConnect.com will be in the house as well with some special surprises of their own!
