Alabama State University's Connection Day to Bring Hundreds of Prospective Students to City (1468 hits)

WHEN: Saturday (Sept. 24) Beginning at noon.
WHERE: ASU's Dunn-Oliver Acadome.
WHY: To learn more about programs & admission to ASU and the City of Montgomery.

Alabama State University is hosting a Saturday event that will bring several hundred high school and college transfer students (and parents) to Montgomery and its campus, which will allow them to connect with the University, learn more about it, catch a free football game and hopefully request admission to ASU.

On Saturday, ASU's Office of Admissions and Recruitment is hosting its annual fall Connection Day, which begins at noon at the ASU Dunn-Oliver Acadome.

The event is an excellent opportunity for high school students and college transfer students (and parents) to take a closer look at ASU. Parents are also encouraged to attend the event.
During ASU's Connection Day, prospective students and their parents will be able to:
- Explore more than 53 undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs, which ASU offers;
- Visit the student's departmental major;
- Learn about costs, scholarships and financial aid that is available for students;
- Tour the campus and check out campus life: housing, dining, student organizations and activities;
- Experience football – use your FREE TICKET when the Hornets take on the Texas Southern Tigers at 6 p.m.
