http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2016/05/3... WILDWOOD, N.J. (CBS) — Hundreds of beer cans, cups and trash covered Wildwood beach Memorial Day weekend.
Despite the big mess, nearby trash cans were reportedly empty.
The Jersey Shore beaches, including Wildwood saw thousands of visitors in the past few days for the unofficial start of summer.
In the video report, many Black Folks took part in the melee... It was highly embarrassing to view the terrible mess left behind on one of the last 'FREE BEACHES' available to all who visit the highly popular shore town.
Why would they do such a thing, especially on a day of remembering our dear and honored fallen? The hot dogs too cold? The beer too warm? Was this supposed to happen because the maid service was supposed to pick up the rubbish left behind by the visiting masters? Would they allow this to happen where they lived?
What would you do if the guests left trash and filthy debris in your house or backyard after an affair? If you had a party I suppose one would expect you to clean up the mess. But suppose those same so-called guests invited themselves over to your house and made such a mess while refusing to pick up and take out the trash that they have brought...?
This incident was simple overkill and totally embarrassing to hear, see, and witness!
...What a terrible shame. Now, I suppose the shore town will impose a tariff on it's visitors and un-invited guests, just like 'Brigantine' and a few other popular shore towns. That wasn't the half of it...many went to jail and had their cars ticked for fighting, open drunkenness, lewd behavior, illegal parking, and several other city ordinance violations.
Would you be one of those who would do such a thing? What about your group of friends and/or relatives?
Is this type of behavior to be tolerated in our city and backyards? I'd like to think that we would be on our best behavior when we are invited to come and enjoy ourselves at the expense of others...and pick up the trash as we left.
