Texas Southern University’s Jesse H. Jones School of Business has announced that MBA student Nerissa Perkins has received the $10,000 Texas Business Hall of Fame Scholarship Award at the Texas Business Hall of Fame 30th Annual Scholarship Luncheon.
The Texas Business Hall of Fame awards scholarships annually to students from participating Texas universities. The Foundation's mission is to sow seeds for our future by acknowledging and helping underwrite the promise that is being demonstrated by Texas business students. They accomplish this by assisting future business leaders pursuing their degrees in Texas schools by funding a scholarship award program. Only one student from each University is selected so this is a very competitive award and

Perkins also serves as the President of the GSA.
