Is Residential (R/A) Advisory worth it?
I recently applied to become a R/A at my school and i was excepted, after the grueling interview where they try everything and anything to break you, I dont know why? Anyway I have just been informed however that it does not include free room and board, the only thing that you get is a monthly stipend and also a $800 refund check back at the end of the semester. What good is $800 going to do a college student at the end of the semester at least it could be at the beginning of the semester. Everyone knows how broke you are while in college. Do you believe it is worth it if your not receiving room and board?
First...I thought it was called Residential Assistant??? Anywho, hey...that's money in YOUR pocket. You get a monthly stipend, so what's the beef? Go ahead and take it. However, do notice you may have to report some of your friends for their wrongdoings in order to keep that job. But take it and be happy that you getting that extra money!!!
