What's The Point?
Ok, maybe it's just me. Because, I must admit, there are a lot of times when I generally don't think like everybody else, and maybe this was just this one instance, but last time I went to the club here in Atlanta (I can't wait to get the hell out), I happened to look up, before everything started jumping, and noticed that all the dudes were dancing with each other and all the females were dancing with each other. I couldn't help but stop jamming to "Nextel Chirp" for a minute (yeah, right) and wonder what the hell was going on. Like I said, maybe it's just me, but it just seems to me that if you're gonna go out, at least dance with somebody, even if it's not jumpin yet, help get it jumpin so we can all get our money's worth. Oops, I forgot. The world is great if you're a female. Females are the only species that can leave the house with no money and still have a good time. If you get to the club before 11 or 12, you're in free, and if you're cute enough, or if you're ugly and the club is dark enough, somebody will probably get you a drink or something. But I digress. My point is simply this: It makes no sense or no logic to go out and just dance with a bunch of people you already know, and then get offended when someone asks you to dance. By the way, I'm not just saying this because a female said no to a request to dance, I'm just simply stating what I have observed. So next time, when someone asks you for a dance, just go with the flow.
