Hey, I'm here to give you a REAL insight on Grambling. It's really exciting but you gotta make the most of it and stay busy. Gram is in the country so it aint much to do there. I think you'll have a blast if you get out the room and go to ALL the functions around campus that you can. Sumbody is ALWAYS having sumthing going on. We have greek shows, movie nights, komedy shows, fashion shows, all kinds of fun things that you could do. Get up early and go to dem football games on Saturday mornings. They are really fun. The band, the game, everything is jus exciting. Uh let's see. GO TO CLASS!!! That's prolly the best advice I could give you. I know u hear it all the time about the freedom but I promise IT'S NOTHING UNTIL YOU EXPERIENCE IT. For Gram not to be in the city, there are so many distractions around it's pitiful. Pretty much that's it. Ima gonna be an RA in Jones so I gotta be there on the 7th so I'll see you on the 14th. Anymore ?'s I'll be happy to ask. Kay?

Looks like Krystal summed it up. I know I'm late, but I didn't see the blog. Don't be nervous though. If you come in nervous, you will mess up. Go in with your head held at eye level (don't be snotty) and you'll enjoy it. You'll make the most out of it.

Oh yeah...bring a LOT of movies and stuff. There are only 13 channels at Gram. Bring a LOCK...to lock your stuff up. Peeps WILL hit you up when you least expect it (you're reading the post of someone who got his PS2 stolen). Just enjoy yourself and relax...

Well I know u get an ideal of whats its like since u went to orientation! U see its not as bad as u thought it would be. I mean I thought I wouldn't make any friends, I thought I would come back not knowing anyone and end up hating it but instead, I met a lot of new people, I kept in contact with the over the rest of the summer, met more people on here(My long lost sistah Krystal and Darryl above) and now I went from being scared to being excited! I can't wait til the fall. I know u will enjoy it, it's just gonna be a new surrounding for u to get use to but I know u will do ok. Dont forget, U got me there (like I really mean anything....smile!)
