The Power of Grief
We all can testify to the power of grief, the loneliness that will bring us to our knees at times, when least expected and seemingly always when "we thought we were doing so well" helping others get through things.
I have said this before and for whatever it is worth, I can't help but wonder if in those times of intense grief, especially when we are 'doing well' so to speak, if our spirits aren't so close as to touch one another, hence, making that emotion and those tears come forth with such force and passion that we think we need to sit down.? For what it's worth, take it or leave it, I can't help but feel they are there with that same emotion which is why it is so strong.? I have learned to embrace those moments when they come, in the car, in the shower, wherever I am; I take a minute or two to shed the tears, gather up myself and continue on in the day.
