I'm about to be a senior in high school and i really want to attend a HBCU but im afraid to leave home. I've been thinking about attending a HBCU for 2 years now and i really want too. I live in California and I am very College bound I want to attend CAU , Howard University, Alabama State University , Lincoln University-Missouri, or Hampton University . So i need advice on determining if a HBCU is right for me or if i should just stay in Cali

what i mean by is it right for me is should i go to a HBCU even though i have never be out of state
