Lack of organization at our HBCUs?

Tia S. · Tuesday, May 24th 2005 at 1:58PM · 492 views
I attend Winston-Salem State University and so far I like the school. The only real problem I have with WSSU is the lack of organization at the school. Every semester I go through hell trying to get classes registered and financial aid straight even though I do all I'm supposed to do. I often get the run around from the people that are SUPPOSED to be in charge of stuff like thatand know what they are doing. MOST of the time I get attitude from those GROWN PEOPLE (who are supposed to be professionals at a institution of higher learning) when I ask about where to go for something or how to go about doing something. I don't know if this applies to other HBCUs and I am curious to find out.

Girl, I feel your pain! They do the same BS here @ VSU. All we can do is keep on doing what we have to do in order to get our degree. Good Luck! :)

Man...they told me Gram was the only school that allows you to do your FAFSA and classes late, and still take you. Hope your schools improve. You should really make the SGA Pres. do something about this...
