I am a Man

I’m workin hard
I go home everyday with cuts and bruises like "damn this work is hard”
But I remember when I was hardly workin
Me without money was just hardly workin
Now everyday I go home and look at the calisis on my hands
and Im able to say that now I AM A MAN cause on my own two feet I stand
But still my growth continues
Everyday I wake up and see that the sun is still burnin
I know that I am still learnin
Learnin a better plan, to become a better man
Cause bein content, is not something that I understand
One day, ima buy me some land as big as neverland
But as a young man I was taught to “never say never” man
So ima call it……..foreverland
I AM A MAN!
And not because of my genetalia but,
My refusal of failure
As I listen to sweet songs sung by Mahalia
I dream of success
Knowin that my motivation is motivated by this thing under my chest and………
Until the day it stops beatin
A MAN is what im a achieving to be
so
