REAL TALK: Exposure of Personal Experiences

Candice Johnson · Monday, February 25th 2008 at 1:34AM · 1349 views
Lately, I've been cleaning out my closet figuratively. Some people who were never my firend in the

first place, I am removing them permanently from my life. I finally understand that you don't have

to be around negative people because eventually they will rub off on you. I was once a person who

truly was good to others and wishing them the best while I struggled with self-hatred and feelings

of unworthiness. I am glad to say that I am not the person I was 5 years ago.

I've learned this lesson too. Not everyone is who or what they seem. Sometimes, we must acknowledge that we are better off leaving dead weight behind, and moving forward in life. Consider those experiences a valuable lesson, and now you've learned what you needed to from them and can continue without them.

Bravo!  I can see that you have put on some pretty clothes!   Taken the clothing of negativity and tossed them amiss!  I totally agree to wearing positive dress--colors brite worn inside and out!.  It's a new freedom to give from a heart that is pure!--MIISRAEL
