It happened one day when I turned on the TV
The vision stood strong as I could see me

Once Oprah endorsed dreams were sent
Reality of winning became evident

There’s a journey before us so please take notes
Barack, Clinton and McCain need our votes

Experience or Change the argument is measured
This moment in time is a life altering treasure

My first speech was If I Can, You Can, We Can
What will you do to help our promise land?

Jesse helped put down dope so Obama could lift up hope
Yes We Can is the beginning of our rope

Whatever you do call on your crew
Let them know that true CHANGE is overdue

It’s time to take a stand and sing the anthem of our land
Yes We Can ,Yes We Can, Yes We Can
