Many of the major scholarships, internships, fellowships, and summer programs will be ending by mid January and the end of January. Some of the opportunities are: Bill Gates, Walmarts, Denzel Washington, YES, Emerson Fellowship, LEAD Program, UT Martin Summer Program, Cheverolet (Education and Music), Burger King, Hitachi Foundation, Best Buy, TIP (Pre-Law and Pre-Professional), FedEx Internships, etc.

Overall there are over 200 postings that can be utilized by many individuals. Many students say they will get their scholarships or assistance from Church or their parent's retirement, but to be on the realistic side, many churches only offer assistance towards books, and may range from $100 to maybe $10,000 and a few paying the scholarships for less than 5 to 10 students but the others still are in need of help.

My hope is that individuals, groups, organizations, etc will offer the blog (http://www.ctherd.blogspot.com ) and other similar resources to assist students and parents and to put them on the proper time lines for colleges and scholarships. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, regardless of what one's circumstances may be. We must always keep hope alive.

A person once told me that the world greatest resources are in the cemeteries because they hold so much potential and unfulfilled dreams. Many people die without even accomplishing their hopes and desires. I believe in the pass-on effect. That is we circulate things of value as we do with insignificant information, what a better world this would be. Be a blessing in someone's life.

In the end, I say that my vision is not your vision and many times you won't see what God has given me until it has manifested.

May you be blessed abundantly......
