random class assignment....

Near and wide, I travel afar,
To tell a tale or two,
Many times I’ll leave a scar,
From things said untrue.

Other times I bring you pleasure,
And I’ll leave you a happy face,
The news sometimes is like a treasure,
That’s found in a special place.

There is never a time when I sleep,
And I will always be around,
During the night is when I creep,
And try not to make a sound.

In the early morning I am up still,
From late night dusk ‘til dawn,
All my duties I will fulfill,
With neither a blink nor a yawn.

Most things I do, I do not mind,
Because they’re part of my task,
I tell all things, you may find,
So people won’t have to ask.

My presence causes many things,
And please, please do not tell,
To laugh, to cry, to sing, to whimper,
Because ssshhh…. I’m only a whisper.
