Loving one's mother has nothing to do with it!
Just heard a woman make the following statement, “If a man loves his mother, than you know he’s a man that’s gonna treat his woman right.”
Where are those men? I have personally been told by certain men, in the past of how much they love and respect their mother, but then I’d also observe how low-down and sneaky they were when it came to the women they “played”.
So, I don’t believe that loving one’s mother has anything to do with how a man will treat his “woman.” I do believe, though, that there are two entirely different levels of love – the mother and the “mother-figure.”

Interesting...
Like most generalizations about relationships, I wouldn't put too much weight on this one either. A good man loves his mother... but loving one's mother doesn't necessarily make a good man.
Right up there with finding someone in church, etc.
