Know Your Place!!!!
Know your place ladies! Every now and then we get caught in the hype of fitting into the stereotype. We change our hair, they way we walk, and sometimes the way that we talk. Often times we put ourselves in situations that we can not get out of. We become apart of relationships that are not healthy because we are so desperate to have a BOO! It may seem a bit crazy, but I thought about myself and all of the things that had taken place in my life. Boy was a little lost. Okay....well way lost. I thought that my happiness and worth came from the outside. I did not care about my worth to God because I wanted to please man. It wasn't that I was out degrading myself, but I was looking for something. I was looking for acceptance and friendship. I was looking for a man, but it was not the right type of man. You know I was looking for pretty Tony. He's the one that all the girls want. He's the one with the rims on his ride and dressed to impress. I kept looking and I got more than what I bargained for. Once I hooked up with pretty Tony.... I began to see that what looked so good was not good for me.
He turned the table on me and showed me the mistakes that I had made. I ended the relationship because he was not what I needed. What I needed was God. I needed to turn my life over to him completely. I mean sometimes I make mistakes, but I learn from them and become a better person. I know that God has the right one out there for me, but I have to be patient and wait on him. He's not going to place me with anyone. I am way too precious for that and I realize that I am worth way more than what society thinks. So, ladies when you find yourself in this situation, look to the hills from whence come all of your help. He will see you through and he will most definitely guide you through any situation.
