Good Question... I'd like for my daughter to go because I don't want her to experience closed doors because she didn't take the opportunity that she has before her. I went but didn't finish until this year (17 years after having this very daughter). It's so easy to get off course. I had to work harder to get where I am because I didn't take full advantage of the opportunity that was before me. I'm glad I went through that so she won't have to. My only prayer is that she will want it for herself just as much as I want it for her or she may be like her mama (trying to finish years later with a husband, children and a full blown career). It's just too tough to do it backwards. Go now while you are young and not loaded down with responsibilities. Four years will go by in a flash! Thank you God, for giving me the strength to continue striving for completion.
I think the best reason for going to college is to excel in life. One thing i dont understand is when people go to college to just have something to do, or just for the party aspect. They just go to college to waste theit parent's money. I personally go to college to make sure i dont have to struggle in life, so i can support my family. It is very true that going to college is good as long as you are there, but you have to actually do something with it, not just waste time.

I want to go to college because well I want to be better than my parents. I want to give my child the things that my parents couldn't give me. I want to be able to live the life that I have always dreamed of. I also want to prove to everybody that thought that I wouldn't even make it to my senior year that no matter what life throws at me I will succeed. Next year when I began my freshman year I wil be proving so many people wrong. When I prove the people who doubt me wrong it makes me feel really good.
