Hi, I am a senior at Xavier Prep( a high school version of XU) in New Orleans. According to my friends at Xavier, it's hard. They also say it depends on your major and on you personally. New Orleans is a big party city, even though Xavier's campus can be dry at times. i would say college is what you make like the comment abov. Are you going to be staying in St. Katherine drexel Dorm. it's my favorite at XU!

College can be hard and it can be easy depending on who answers this question. It is HARD for someone who dont manage their time wisely. It is EASY for someone who manages their time well and set goals and Knows what they want out of college. I know when I was in high school I didnt do my work once I got home from school. I went to college and I was like okay lets see what happens if I do my homework but not study....so I did my homework and at the end of my first semester my GPA came back looking like I didnt do my homework. That following Spring I did my homework...applied myself..read some additional chapters and spent more time in the library and my GPA changed drastically. THE KEY COMPONENT is how you manage your time. College can be difficult because you dont have your parents there watching your every move, you are the one who can actually determine in you want to go to class or if you want to go to EVERY social gathering on or off campus. Not to say individuals who go out have a hard time in school but what I am saying is dont spend more time outside of class than you do inside of class....Holla Back at me....I dont want this entry to be LOOOOONNNNGGG.
