ECSU season opener picked as NCAA Div II Football Game of the Week

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University season opener against Catawba College has been selected as one of the NCAA Division II Football Games of the Week.
The contest, which is slated for a 6:00pm kickoff at Roebuck Stadium in Elizabeth City, NC, was chosen by the NCAA Division II Presidents Council and the NCAA Division II Media Advisory Group as one of four (4) broadband (internet) NCAA Division II Football Games of the Week. This is the second year of the NCAA Division II Regular Season TV and Broadband Package in which NCAA Productions will produce several regular season football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball TV and broadband games.
For the Vikings, who are coming off their best season in school history, the September 1st matchup will represent both their home and season opener while the Indians will visit Chowan University the week before their game with ECSU.
