SILVER DOLLAR CLASSIC & BATTLE OF THE BANDS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED
Las Vegas, NV (June 5, 2007) -The Silver Dollar Classic scheduled to take place September 28-29, 2007 at Sam Boyd Stadium has been cancelled. The two day event, which included the third annual black college football game and Battle of the Bands, did not receive the corporate participation necessary to cover all expenses.
“After extensive discussion with the event promoters,” said Daren Libonati, executive director of the Thomas & Mack Center. “We decided it was in the best interest of all parties to cancel this event.”
Anyone who purchased tickets may receive a full refund at the original point of purchase. Ticket purchasers may call (702) 739-3267 for more information.
