Sean Paul of The YoungBloodZ has changed his name to Sean P and is planning the release of his new solo album, which is due in stores in summer 2007.

According to Sean P, the new album is being recorded in Atlanta, Miami, and Los Angeles.

The rapper, who recently launched a 21-date tour of U.S. Army bases throughout Asia in April in Tokyo, recently dropped "You Aint Know" featuring T Pain.

"You Aint Know" is the first single from the album, which Sean P says will feature a number of high profile collaborations.

"Our soldiers are in need of some good ole' down south Crunk entertainment," Sean P said. "Everyday, these guys put their lives on the line for freedom that we take for granted...it's because of them that I have the freedom to do what I do. They are true heroes."

Sean P, who has also toured Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain, was recently honored during the 24th Annual ASCAP Awards for his contribution to "Snap Yo Fingers," which he co-wrote with E-40 and Lil' Jon.
