Nervous..
hey everyone... well i will be attending FAMU in the fall but it is sooo far from my home...(illinois)... is it really hard to adjust?

gurl im feelin the same as you about now..ill be there in the fall too as a freshman..the only difference is that my (far away from home) is only two hours but im not use to bein away from it.so it will be kinda hard..just wanted to let u know that your not the only one

It's hard if you are not open minded...be yourself and open to meeting new people and experiencing new things. Don't stay holed up in your room...and be honest if you are homesick, its natural for everyone their first couple of years, but the more you become comfortable with the school and make new friends it will ease that adjustment.
